Meet your elected CafePressVoice Representatives...
Shop Management
This committee focuses on how to run a successful shop from business and technical standpoints. How can our tools and reports help shopkeepers be more productive, while encouraging better business decisions? How can we make being a Shopkeeper fun, easy, and profitable...at all levels of experience? These are the kind of questions the Shop Management committee will be exploring.

"My greatest asset is that I never stop learning, researching, studying, and discovering new ways to sell, to communicate, to self-critique, and to build my shop. I will represent the little guys and gals who are struggling, just as I am, to stay atop of changes, to demand clarity and transparency, to ask the questions that maybe others are afraid to ask"

"As an experienced shopkeeper I have a vested interest in CafePress. If CafePress succeeds, shopkeepers succeed. I would bring a voice to the council from a point of view of someone who is not a CafePress employee, but a designer and entrepreneur."

"I believe that I can bring my experience, skills, and passion to CafePress and the community. My shops all took root from my passion for the subject matter represented in each store and my love of graphic arts and web design. Pair this passion with my MBA in Technology Management and E-Commerce and you have yourself a winning combination."

"I love coming up with ideas that have never been done before. As a shop template designer, I get to meet several new shopkeepers every week. Seeing how each of them have set up their shops and how they manage them gives me a unique idea of how major decisions or changes would effect the majority."

"I think that my over two years experience as a shopkeeper and professional graphic/web design background have helped me understand what it takes to have a successful shop. This experience should translate into a voice that will be able to evaluate new ideas and concepts successfully."

"I understand what it takes to create a successful site from scratch but I wouldn't have been able to do that without the CafePress community. In the time that I've been a part of the CafePress community, I have met many great people and I've learned an unbelievable amount from them. I want to give back in the same way. I know that I can help shopkeepers achieve their goals but at the same time, I am very interested in being a part of the CafePress team and contributing to CafePress' continued success."

Merchandise
The Merchandise committee will provide a community point of view regarding the merchandise assortment. They will provide input in regards to new and existing products. This committee will also discuss the marketing around merchandise launches to understand which strategies are most successful from a community perspective. While this committee is not the decision maker of what products to launch/exit, they are a vital point of input, into the larger strategic discussions surrounding merchandise.

"I think I represent the "average" shopkeeper (if there is such a thing!) I use almost the full range of CP products, I have an interest in all types of designs, my shop is medium-sized, and I participate in the community."

"I enjoyed being involved in the first CafePress Shopkeeper's Conference "CafePress Connect". In addition to giving a presentation titled "CafePress for Artists," I also co-hosted the Marketing 101 presentation and served on several web design critique panels.
Currently I am a freelance artist and designer and have been selling my own and other artist's designs on CafePress for six years. I own 11 premium stores, and my shopping portal can be found at www.evisionarts.com. "

"I have always been an active member of CafePress, getting to know the people behind the organization, and of course making many great friends among shopkeepers. Having worked in marketing, PR and design in the non-virtual world for a combined 20 years, I have always been interested in how we can expand our CafePress-based businesses beyond the online world. I am very involved with independent entrepreneur and design communities to see what other opportunities we can take advantage of, what is selling and where, and I am eager to share these insights with CP and you all."

"I am passionate about the incredible opportunity CP represents to Shopkeepers and the huge resource passionate Shopkeepers offer CP. We succeed as Shopkeepers when CafePress does the right things - and we must do our part in making sure CafePress understands what we think they are."

"On most days I feel like the luckiest person alive to be able to do what I do. Even though I complain, I love CP and how much I've learned from being a shopkeeper. I truly want to be able to work with the company to expand on great things that are already in place, improve upon things that need some final touches, and really get that community spirit going again. Cheesy as it may sound, I also really just sort of want try to give back..."

"There's lots of really desirable stuff already available, but I think there's also lots of room for improvement in the CafePress offerings. I would hope to add to that improvement with some common sense items. (And maybe a few non-sensical ideas, as well.)"

Quality
Quality is a top priority at CafePress, whether it's about merchandise, customer service or website performance. This committee will have the important task of studying levels of quality in all these areas to help us make sure that all customers have a positive experience when buying from a CafePress Shopkeeper. CafePressVoice reps will provide valuable customer feedback and look for ways to maintain the highest quality standards across the board.

"Better profits for all by encouraging teamwork and sharing at all levels, by providing customer satisfaction feedback to each and every shopkeeper, and by allowing every member of the CafePress family to commit completely and positively to the goal of 100% shopper satisfaction."

"Having been a shopkeeper for almost seven years, I've experienced pretty much every change that CafePress has gone through. CafePress' printing methods and quality always seem to be evolving, and I think a lot is due to all of us wonderfully vocal and opinionated shopkeepers that have been providing helpful feedback all along. I really want to make sure that CafePress continues to improve quality from all angles, from shopkeeper and shopper experience, as well as product quality and printing consistency."

"I am very familiar with most aspects of the CafePress service. I would be able to devote a large portion of time to the council and community since I am a full time shopkeeper. I am opinionated, but I strive to balance it with a level head and a little perspective. I like to solve problems. I love to find ways to save time and work as efficiently as possible. I would love to be able to help others in the community as I have learned so much from them in the past 3 years."

"I always enjoyed being a part of the CafePress community. I've been to two Meet & Greets, which were great opportunities to open the lines of communication between shopkeepers and to CafePress. I look forward to being a bigger part of the community, sharing our successes and enhancing all of our experiences."
